"Schedule the research. Sleep. Read the brief. The night shift runs itself."
The Intelligence Center is the scheduling and delivery layer that sits on top of FrankenCoder's research engine. You define what you want to know about, how often, how deep, and where the report should land. The system runs autonomously — gathers sources, curates findings, classifies urgency, and delivers an executive summary to your inbox or Discord while you're doing literally anything else.
Think of it less as a "daily newsletter" feature and more as a personal analyst on retainer. One that doesn't sleep, doesn't bill hourly, and doesn't miss a day because of a long weekend.
One real run, May 13, 2026:
• 10 topics — AI models, IPOs, security threats, local model releases, research grants…
• Generated overnight at 22:45 local
• Delivered: Email + Discord + local file archive
• Output: Executive summary + 1,800-line full report
• First headline: "CRITICAL: Mini Shai-Hulud Supply Chain Attack — 170+ npm packages compromised. Action required."
Every "daily intelligence" product has the same problem: by week two you’ve muted it. The same stories show up. The report grows longer. You start skimming. You stop opening it.
Diff Mode is the structural fix. Day 1 gives you the full landscape. Every run after that tracks each story across time and tells you exactly what state it’s in:
Plus a Key Findings — New Deltas section that does pattern-level synthesis across stories: "Baseline noted X. NEW delta reveals Y. Category shift from A to B."
The RESOLVED signal is the one nobody else ships. Every other intel product buries you in alerts. Diff Mode tells you when an alert is over.
Schedules aren't one-size-fits-all. Hourly competitor monitoring shouldn't pay frontier-model prices. Weekly literature review should. The Create Schedule modal exposes every knob:
Hourly · Every 4 hours · Daily · Weekly · Custom. Each schedule independent.
Pick the model per schedule. Cheap models for low-stakes monitoring, premium for serious analysis. Local models for free.
Flash (1-3 sources) · Standard (2-4) · Deep (5-10). Cost vs. quality, your call.
Optionally generate a skimmable executive summary across all topics after the full report completes.
Track every story across runs. Each report tags items as NEW, UPDATED, RESOLVED, or ONGOING — including pattern-level deltas in Key Findings.
Discord, email, local file — toggle independently per schedule. Security to one channel, fun to another.
Run 100 schedules if you want. Different topics, different frequencies, different models, different channels. The system doesn't care.
The same brief lands in the format that fits the channel. Email gets the polished HTML executive summary. Discord gets a parsed, scrollable version delivered to whichever channel you pointed the webhook at. The full report — usually 1,000+ lines for a multi-topic run — archives to a local file you can search later.
Honest note on email: Email reading and delivery has been tested with Gmail. Other providers may work, but we haven't verified them. If you're not on Gmail, treat it as experimental for now.
Discord delivery works through a standard incoming webhook. When FrankenCoder posts to your webhook, Discord displays the message under whatever name you gave the webhook during setup — "Captain Hook" is just Discord's default display name for new webhooks, nothing we named or built.
Point it at a personal server, a team channel, or a security ops channel. Each schedule can route to a different webhook, so threat intel and weekly market analysis don't have to share a feed.
Honest note on Discord: FrankenCoder posts to a Discord webhook that you set up and control. You need your own Discord server — or an existing one you have access to — with an incoming webhook created in the channel you want reports in. Paste that URL into FrankenCoder and you're done.
We have no involvement with Discord beyond sending the HTTP request to your webhook. We don't host a bot, manage servers, or see your channel. It can be a private server just for you, a shared server with your team, whatever you want — Discord's setup, not ours.
The Intelligence Center isn't a standalone product. It's composed from primitives that already exist in FrankenCoder:
There are no default schedules. You build your own — your topics, your frequency, your models, your channels. That's the point. It's meant to be personal.
